‘Jazz It Up’ with the Canadian Federation of the Blind on August 19.

Award-winning jazz guitarist, Lucas Haneman, will headline a concert in Victoria at Hermann’s Jazz Club on Friday, August 19 at 7:00 pm. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Canadian Federation of the Blind, a local nonprofit organization.

“We invite people to come listen to great music, have some fun and help raise money for our organization,” says Elizabeth Lalonde, president of the Canadian Federation of the Blind.

Haneman, who is legally blind, will perform with Montreal-based folk/rock band, Robbie Sinclair & the Beggars Laughing, as part of their national CD release tour. Blind singer and bass-guitar-player, Karyn Christensen, and local folk / rock singer/songwriter, Kaya Fraser, will also perform at the concert.
